DATE: Sat., Aug. 3, 2024 – 10am.
COST: $150 per team, payable before first game.
DIVISIONS: Open; Coed; Veterans (30+)
ROSTERS: Anyone playing in the tournament needs to registered on-line through their team leader’s roster link. You cannot play unless you are registered. Your team leader will send you a specific roster link. Please make sure that this is done before by the end of July!
CHECK-IN TIME: Please let tournament director Chris Haack know that your team has arrived approximately 30 minutes before your first kick-off time.
GAMES: Two 21-minute halves; five-minute halftime. No extra time. If the championship game is tied at the end of full-time, kicks from the penalty mark shall determine the winner.
SEVEN V. SEVEN SPECIFIC RULES: No offside. No slide tackling. Balls may not be kicked/thrown/punted from one’s own defensive zone into the opponent’s defensive zone (three-line rule). If this occurs, the opposing team is awarded an indirect free kick from the defensive line closest to their opponents’ goal. Substitutions are “on the fly”, but if this causes any interference or confusion, the referee has the ability to award an indirect free kick to the opposing team.
RED CARDS: Any player receiving a red card shall be ineligible for the remainder of the game in which he receives the red card and he shall not be substituted for. The referee issuing the red card and the tournament committee shall determine if that player is eligible for other tournament games.
GROUP STANDINGS: The two teams with the most points accrued in group play will play for the championship. Three points are awarded for a win, one point for a tie, and no points for a loss. In case of tied points, the following tiebreaker system shall be used:
a) head to head competition
b) goal difference
c) goals for
d) kicks from the penalty mark
UNIFORMS: Each team should bring an alternate set of uniforms and be prepared to change shirts in case of color conflict. The team listed first is the designated “home team” and should be prepared to change shirts. Each field player must have a proper number on the back of his shirt and be in proper uniform. Players must wear shin guards and should not wear jewelry.
LINKS ARE LIVE! LIMITED TO FIRST EIGHT TEAMS IN EACH DIVISION.
